Yooooo man we did our first keepers of the underground show in Houston Texas on March 30th. It took place at midtown bar and grill. We had a great time and intimate showcases and interactions. Our host Travis M held us down

A great icebreaker was had. Getting to hear the different paths that were in the building.

The battle ended up being down to wizard Craig and Dj Jo the rounds were filled with nostalgic cuts and an exemplary effort by both Dj’s

The hiphopnvs mo town round was definitely a crowd favorite

The free style round definitely created the edge for Dj Jo but overall the event went well

All the performances were entertaining to say the least.each artist captured you in their own world

Joe Scott set the tone bringing his vernacular word play motivation and raw talent

Dot brought the oneness and did his thing with some unreleased joints

We did our first raffle s/o our winners JERRELL and DENNIS

So what went wrong tho

Everything isn’t always smooth as we wish

We lost two judges within 48 hrs

One had to get a bag ( always understandable we do not pay the judges to be there )

The other had family matters to attend to. Hospital scare shit

My live painter also had to cancel due to his own personal reasons that shall remain disclosed but he couldn’t make it

My 3rd Dj contestant cancelled mid show due to affiliations but he at least came thru to tell me to my face so it’s mad respect and love still it was just unfortunate

I had to have my patna whom is a very talented producer judge in place of one of the two judges being gone

We still had our one original

And our great host filled in for any tie breaker

But we must roll with the punches

All things are spiritual so we work with the divine alignment and the ppl that were present understand the vision and the potential

So big thx to all that were in the building for a short time or the whole time it was great

Catching up with the old faces
